CHOCOLATE -- Jeeja Yanin -- A review

Chocolate is the story of an autistic girl with amazing martial arts skills. She can follow and do perfectly any martial arts style or technique that she sees just by seeing it. She really loves her mother and her mother’s illness brought her fighting instincts alive. You see, they were poor and they greatly needed money. One day, while Zen (the autistic girl) was watching Ong-Bak, eating chocolate in a weird way (she throws the chocolate to the remote control which she was holding and then the chocolate rebounds and she catches it with her mouth (^_^)), her friend suddenly came across an old notebook or something and finds out that it contained all the names of the people who have debts to Zen’s mother. Figuring that it was a good opportunity to get money for Zen’s mother, Zen’s friend decided to collect the money from the debtors. But then, the debtors were not very much willing to pay and often they hurt Zen and her friend. That was the time when Zen woke up and kicked the debtor’s and the debtor’s goons’ butts. And so, the story gets more complicated and I will not spoil it for you so if you’re interested, then by all means, check it out. You can watch it in Youtube if you want to. (^_^) You’ll also get to see Ms. Jeeja Yanin’s amazing stunts. YYYY
It’s my no. 1 favorite movie. I promise. I can watch it a hundred times and still not get sick of it. Really. When you watch this movie, you’ll really feel the great desire to get into martial arts too. It will get your blood pumping and your heart racing. It’s so amazing that the lead actress Ms. Jeeja Yanin is now officially my idol. She kicks butt! She really has good martial arts training background. Actually, in real life, Jeeja is a 3rd Dan black belter in Taekwondo and she started training when she was 11 years old. Her mom actually introduced her to this sport because at the time, Jeeja was somewhat sickly. Her mom thought that she could strengthen her body if she did a sport. Soon, Jeeja fell in love with this sport and now look where she is. Her dedication and undying love for this sport made her into such an amazing fighter. Also, another trivia, Jeeja originally auditioned for a role in the movie Ong-Bak however the director and producers had something else in mind for her. They wrote the storyline for the movie Chocolate with Jeeja and her amazing fighting skills in mind. That’s how great she is. I myself was a Taekwondo student before and I really admire her because she’s really a great and skilled fighter. I just love her!
Well then, if you want to see a kick-ass movie and kick-ass actors then this is the movie for you. Please enjoy! I promise you, you won’t be disappointed. Go ahead and watch the movie –now! (^_^)

Kanon Wakeshima -- Still Doll review with LYRICS

Kanon Wakeshima’s “Still Doll” is a very good song. While waiting for the song to start, you sigh or do something else. Then, the song starts and after hearing the first few notes of the song, you lean in closer to your computer. After that, you would become interested and then, you would eagerly wait for the next note. You feel the climax of the song getting nearer then—bang! Those amazing cello solos come bursting out of your speakers! Truly amazing! You are now hooked and there’s no stopping you from finishing the song. And when the song finishes at last you grab your mouse and click on the replay button and then listen to the song all the way from the top again. There’s no denying it—you’ve become addicted to the song.
This is one of the unique characteristics of Kanon-chan’s song Still Doll, especially when you watch the music video of this song, because you get addicted to it. You would be left wondering about how something so good as this song even exist. You might say I’m exaggerating, but I am not. From the first time I heard this song until now; I still get the same feeling of awe that I felt back then. There’s no denying it, Kanon-chan is a gifted musician.
To tell you the truth, I am a music lover and a big one at that. I literally can’t live a day without music. But, there are still days when we don’t really like the music that we hear from the radio or anywhere else. There comes a time when we want something new, fresh and unique. I experienced those kinds of days, too and I was just about to go crazy. Then the next thing I knew, I was surfing through the net about new artists from Japan when I came across the name Kanon Wakeshima. I got curious so I researched about her and found out that she’s a new artist from Japan who just debuted this year and that she is produced by Mana (I also like Mana so….). Then, I looked her up on youtube to find her videos and then I found her music video of Still Doll, her debut song. And man, was it good! It was really good. That’s when I realized that she was something and from there on I decided to add her to my favorite artists list. And why wouldn’t I? Such talent don’t always come around too often you know. Anyway, I really fell in love with her music so if you’re looking for good music and a cute artist, then Kanon Wakeshima’s for you. Trust me, you don’t want to miss this rare opportunity. Oh, right before I forget, Still Doll is also the ending song of the hugely popular anime Vampire Knight. There you have it. You may also check her videos at the bottom of this page. Well than, enjoy and please check out her newest song too! Thank you!

Kyle Landry

Have you ever heard of a really good pianist who plays cool piano pieces from animes such as Naruto and games such as Kingdom Hearts 2 with such mastery and beauty?

I have.

And this pianist's name is Kyle Landry. A very talented pianist indeed. He transforms each piece he plays into a wonderland where your mind can wander peacefully... I seriously got goosebumps the first time that I heard his playing. It was so incredible. I can't really say anything much because I am speechless so you just have to check it out for yourself. KANON WAKESHIMA

If you love gothic music with beautiful melody and cool cello solos, then Kanon Wakeshima is the artist for you. Her voice is as cool and mysterious as flowing water and her music is amazigly unique and new. This is the kind of artist that anyone in their right mind wouldn't dare miss.

The first time that I saw this japanese artist, I just knew that she was something. Just look at her gentle face and the way her cello fits her. And when you hear her voice you just thank God that she's alive and that you are able to enjoy such good music. Listen to her song "Still Doll"... it will give you goosebumps.

If you want to learn more about her then, read on:

Kanon Wakeshima (分島 花音 Wakeshima Kanon) is a japanese singer and cellist. She is produced by Mana and debuted with her first single, "Still Doll", on May 28th, 2008. "still doll" was used as the ending theme for the anime Vampire Knight.

Wakeshima has also provided the voice for the maid in episode eight of Vampire Knight , and will provide the ending theme for the second season.

Actually, Kanon-chan is really music-oriented. Her parents really loved music and so they encouraged her to also love music. They introduced her to the cello and soon she fell in love with it and now she's already a terrific musician!

Great, huh?

she's got a new song too, please check it out!
