Chocolate is the story of an autistic girl with amazing martial arts skills. She can follow and do perfectly any martial arts style or technique that she sees just by seeing it. She really loves her mother and her mother’s illness brought her fighting instincts alive. You see, they were poor and they greatly needed money. One day, while Zen (the autistic girl) was watching Ong-Bak, eating chocolate in a weird way (she throws the chocolate to the remote control which she was holding and then the chocolate rebounds and she catches it with her mouth (^_^)), her friend suddenly came across an old notebook or something and finds out that it contained all the names of the people who have debts to Zen’s mother. Figuring that it was a good opportunity to get money for Zen’s mother, Zen’s friend decided to collect the money from the debtors. But then, the debtors were not very much willing to pay and often they hurt Zen and her friend. That was the time when Zen woke up and kicked the debtor’s and the debtor’s goons’ butts. And so, the story gets more complicated and I will not spoil it for you so if you’re interested, then by all means, check it out. You can watch it in Youtube if you want to. (^_^) You’ll also get to see Ms. Jeeja Yanin’s amazing stunts. YYYY
It’s my no. 1 favorite movie. I promise. I can watch it a hundred times and still not get sick of it. Really. When you watch this movie, you’ll really feel the great desire to get into martial arts too. It will get your blood pumping and your heart racing. It’s so amazing that the lead actress Ms. Jeeja Yanin is now officially my idol. She kicks butt! She really has good martial arts training background. Actually, in real life, Jeeja is a 3rd Dan black belter in Taekwondo and she started training when she was 11 years old. Her mom actually introduced her to this sport because at the time, Jeeja was somewhat sickly. Her mom thought that she could strengthen her body if she did a sport. Soon, Jeeja fell in love with this sport and now look where she is. Her dedication and undying love for this sport made her into such an amazing fighter. Also, another trivia, Jeeja originally auditioned for a role in the movie Ong-Bak however the director and producers had something else in mind for her. They wrote the storyline for the movie Chocolate with Jeeja and her amazing fighting skills in mind. That’s how great she is. I myself was a Taekwondo student before and I really admire her because she’s really a great and skilled fighter. I just love her!
Well then, if you want to see a kick-ass movie and kick-ass actors then this is the movie for you. Please enjoy! I promise you, you won’t be disappointed. Go ahead and watch the movie –now! (^_^)
